Thomas Warren did not marry Alice Powell she would have been to old for him to marry.
In my research and Richard N Gookins research it is believed that Thomas Warren first married Alice Spencer who would have been the age to be Thomas Warren's first wife and would have made Thomas Warren's association with his second wife Elizabeth Spencer Sheppard ( Elizabeth's first husband Major Robert Sheppard) an easier relationship .
Unforunately Alice, Thomas first wife , nor Elizabeth Thomas's second wife lived long after their marriages but Thomas Warren's third Wife Jane King ( again some say her maiden name was Stokes and others say Allen which I feel it is ) lived a long life and Thomas and Jane had four sons : Allen Warren Sr., Thomas Warren Jr., Robert Warren and William Warren ( yes Alice and Thomas Warren also had a son named William but William from the First marriage never married )
