No, do not know name Zachariah Bailey in Campbell Co or the other Baileys you named. The only Zacahariah I know was born 1775 in Sussex Co.,VA and died after 1819 in Clinton Co., OH. Have had no luck in identifying this Jual/Joel. My original message though is incomplete will restate.

The name Jual Bailey appears in Southampton Deed Book 1 1749-1753 Pages 380-382: ROGER DELK of Surry to BENJAMIN BAILEY dated 2 Mar 1752. A 140 acres on the south side of the main Blackwater adj. JOHN HOLLOMAN, THOMAS HOLLOMAN, BENJAMIN PITMAN, JOSEPH GRIFFIN, and ROBERT MESERS (patent to JOHN PROCTOR) was sold by Delk. The witnesses were SAMUEL (signed) BAILEY, THOMAS (signed) PRETLOW, BENJAMIN (signed) LANCASTER, ROBERT (signed) LANCASTER, and JUAL (signed) BAILEY.

Benjamin Bailey could be Benjamin Bailey 1711-1781 son of Anselm Bailey of Surry Co. Samuel could be his nephew Samuel Bailey 1735-1796. Thomas Pretlow may have been father of the husband of Benjamin's niece Mary who was sister of Samuel. These relationships raise question whether JUAL (?JOEL) Bailey may be a relative also. This name or variations are unknown to me in this Bailey family. Is this a new relation? Tryal Bailey about 1758 named a son Joel. Tryal was son of Benjamin 1711-1781. Could Joel 1752 be a unrecorded son of Benjamin and brother to Tryal? Did he die soon after 1752 so not recorded in any Wills of time? Did Tryal name first son in his honor?
