Hello: I have read one of your postings that involved the Ellis line. I have searched for years on info about my GG grandfather Thomas Ellis and his wife Frances Fannie Ingle. All I know is Thomas Ellis was born around 1860 +/- and one of their sons was named John Anderson Ellis. John was born in 1885. I descend from this son John. .... they also had children named Ada and Ella, It is also thought that they had three sons named Horace, Gratt, and Larkin. It is thought that they traveled from Alabama to Mississippi and Missouri before coming back to Alabama. Thomas and John both died in Alabama. I can not find out any info about how my Ellis line arrived in America, or who Thomas's parents are. I have wondered if Thomas came to America from somewhere else. If you can match any of this info please let me know. .... Donna Ellis Franks franks@sonet.net
