The names aren't familiar, but then I don't know anything about Maynors (by any spelling) in Virginia after the early 1700s. John Maynor (Maynard, etc.), my 6g-grandfather, died in Virginia in 1699. He had three sons (that I know of -- possibly more children): John, Wade, and Joseph. John and Joseph moved from Virginia to North Carolina not long after their father's death. I'm not sure what happened to Wade, however. He might have stayed in Virginia. I'd like very much to find out and to be able to fill in some more blanks.
