Not in Surry, in fact, am in Newport News. My set of Waldens assumedly crossed over to white. I have ordered several reels from Library of Virginia thru the Library here. I think I found Joseph in 1870 census of Surry and found they had 2 other sons prior to Augustus. They were Alexander who was 6 in 1870 and Dogard(hard to read writing who was 3 as well as un-named son 6/12 (6 mos old which may have been Augustus. Saloma apparently may have been using name of Margaret. We need to get in touch with each other. Let me know what you have.
