Walnut Branch and Haw Branch of Potomac Run and the Old Mine Road
Posted by: Madeline Van Hoose (ID *****3772) Date: December 10, 2006 at 05:46:30

Does anyone know where the Walnut Branch and Haw Branch of the Potomac Run and the Old Mine Road are in Stafford County? Jerrilynn Eby was very helpful in establishing for me the overall location of the Quaker settlement re: 1776. In two later deeds re: 1810-1811, the lines and corners of my possible ancestor, William Mullen, were mentioned in association with the above geographical entities. I haven't found a written description for these anywhere, or their location on any period maps (at least that I have looked at), and they are not identified on the TopoZone.com website.

Any help would be appreciated in helping me identify the location of my William Mullen's property and his neighbors.

Thank you,

Madeline Van Hoose
