       It is possible, of course, that I made an error, but in our book, “Stafford Co., VA, 1800-1850,” (1980), which contains my 1850 Stafford Co., VA transcription of this census from the microfilm and photo copies of the original supplied by The National Archives, I found no NICATI FLOYD [or any FLOYD surname] nor is there a CLORINDA HELBERT [or any variation of Helbert].

       I know not of this family, but it is possible [I’ve seen it a few times] that a family is duplicated in two different counties within a state. They just happened to move between dates of enumeration in the two counties.
