I'm looking for information on Ed & Mary Newton from Spotsylvania Co. VA. Their daughter Lucy Newton Casky was born Oct. 17, 1795 in Spotsylvania Co. She named a son Edmond, so her father could be Edmond Newton. On Lucy's death record it states her parents were Ed & Mary Newton, both born in Virginia.
Lucy married Robert Casky and had her first child in Christian County, KY in 1828.
A Mary Newton was listed in 1820 Spotsylvania Co. census with 2 males 16-26 1 female 10-16 1 female 16-26 and 1 female over 45.
I would appreicate any help I can get on this Newton family.
