Do you folks know of any Carter women that married any Thorn Men? Maybe in the late 1700's. I have a Robert Carter Thorn born in Ohio from William Thorn born in VA & thought maybe his middle name was from the Carter Family.
Our Thorn family has a ledgend that there is a town named for them in VA, perhaps Thornburg, Spotsylvavia Co.
