My Henry Carter was Henry Carter III b. circa 1765 in Spotsylvania County. Left after his mother's death in 1790 and mmoved to Kenansville, NC. Around 1794, he moved to Sampson County, NC. Wife's name is unknown but children are: 0ldest daughter (name unknown), Henry, malcy, Malcolm, Owen and Daniel. His wife's maiden name was Peterson and her father was named Malcolm. Henry III died around 1830 at about 65 years of age.

My line carries on through Henry's son, Malcolm.
