I am interested in your HALLs. I have not found MY HALLs here yet. They were in Northampton Co., NC in 1790 though. Both William HALL and Martin HALL have been found in N'hmtn, later appearing in Franklin and Johnston Counties. Given names of other HALLs that appear with them are Richard, James, John, Benjamin, Nathan(ial?), and Durham. Durham HALL was in Brunswick County, VA by 1785, when he married a HICKS. I expect a HALL-MARTIN marriage to pop up at some point. Have found one in Chowan County, in 1744 but suspect that it may be a little too early to work for this group. The group shows signs, in its given names, of being connected in some way to the Norfolk County HALLs who may turn out to have connections to the Nansemond and IOW HALLs. Wanna compare?
