JESSE:
I have primarily just names with very few dates, etc. Back in the 1950's my mother rec'd a lot of letters from an old gentleman who lived in Richmond but was one of the Southampton County Harrisons. The Harrisons, Turners and James(my mother was a James)families intermarried to the degree that to read about it all reminds me of that old song that went something about "I'm my own grandpa". I have record of David Turner (born 1812 died 1896)married to Malinda Adams. Their children were(so far as I know)
Sarah,Patty, Ed and John(married to Nina Harrison). I'm not familiar with a Joseph Turner. All this information came to me via those old letters and I just had to piece it together something like a jigsaw puzzle. If you want to you can contact me at burnsba@earthlink.net.
