African American Descendants

My ancestors were slaves who lived around the Drewryville/Capron/Boykins areas of Southampton County. Many assumed the surnames of Stith, Wright, Owes, Mabry, Wynne, Hill, Wyche, and Banks.

I am trying to find them prior to their freedom. Any leads would be helpful and appreciated.
