Blythes of Southampton Co. pre-1850

My ancestors moved to Hertford Co. North Carolina in the 1850's. The Nottaway Parish, Southampton Co. 1850 census lists Anny Blye (45 yrs old) and five children: James (17), Bettie (14), Mann (9), Mary (7), and Starkes (4). I'm trying to connect Anny (Annie?) to her deceased (I assume?) husband (perhaps James) and his Blythe ancestors in Southampton, and previously Isle of Wight Counties. Thanks for your help!
