Raymond,
There was a William Wray that died in 1775 in Southampton co Va. He wsas married to an Anne. My George wray lived on Quarrel Swamp or Creek in southeast Brunswick co Va from 1769-1777. Soutghampton co Va was just east of Brunswick co Va in 1775. Greensville co Va was formed in 1780 or 1781 and is the county in between Brunswick co Va and Southamp[ton co Va now but George lived fairly close to the Southampton co Va border. I don't know if the William Wray who died in 1775 in Southampton co Va and was married to an Anne was the same William Wray that lived on Coldwater Run in Brunswick co Va 1740's-1760's and was married to an Anne.
I know that William and Anne Wray living in Brunswick co Va had sons Baker and William WrayJr. Would youj have any info about the William Wray that died in 1775 in Southampton co Va? Thanks, Ross
