April- Since it has been 5 years since your query was posted, am not sure if you are still monitoring this forum. Together with a couple of other people,I have been studying this Phillips group for a couple of years trying to sort them all out. There was a Francis and a Frances Phillips, both children of Benjamin and Hannah Phillips and interestingly they both married Barhams. Have not been able to locate a will for either Benajmin or Hannah but do have the Estate Accounts which are fairly revealing. Aaron is listed in the accounts but dso not know if he is son or what.I don't believe that Joseph was a child of Benj. & Hannah but might be related. There were several Joseph Phillips there at the same time. One was a son of John and Hannah Fort Phillips. One is believed to be the son John and Martha Crafford Phillips of Surry Co. One Joseph married Elizabeth Barrow, don't know which one and another located in Edgecomb Co., NC after marrying Sarah Exxum in Southampton Co. in 1751. If you would like for me to send the Estate accounts Iwill or I can help you can contact me at r.phillips0288@sbcglobal.net
