Edward Edwards, 1850 Southampton Co Census

I am trying to find my ancestor, Edward EDWARDS, who married in Kentucky in 1857. I found an Edward EDWARDS in the 1850 Southampton Co, VA Census as follows:

1850 Southampton Co, VA Census
Nottaway Parish Twp, Page 330B, Dwelling and Family 742

Britt, Wily 26 M Farmer $350 VA
Edwards, Edward 23 M Farmer VA

My Edward EDWARDS was born in VA according to his daughter's census records. He married Lucinda GORDON/GARDNER in 1857 in Warren Co, KY. I believe he died before 1870, as I found his wife and children living alone then in Warren Co, KY, and in 1880 she had remarried a Stephen JAMES.

I don't have much info on my ancestor, I would greatly appreciate if anyone had any information that would help me out. Thanks a lot!
