My brother and I have been researching the Hines family for some time. While our specific branch resided in the Prince Edward county area for the last portion of the 1700's and the bulk of the 1800's - they appeared to have migrated from the southeastern portion of VA. We have found evidence of them living in King and Queen county and King William just prior to and during the Revolutionary War. We are lacking a generation or two between the southeastern group and our folks. Any info you have could help bridge the gap. Thanks, Wayne
