Sorry Betty, went to review & hit Post.
Anyway our DNA doesn't match the other DNA tested so I'm going back to square one.
With DNA testing such a good tool, we may not have to spend 30 yrs. barking up the wrong tree, not counting the money spent...
Go to the Buchanan Forum & read Sandra Kidd's posting, maybe if you approach Uncles, Cousins with something like this they might do it?? My mother's only living brother (than 88 yrs. old) did the testing for me, which suprised me that he'd do it (but we've got to ask who ever & we might get lucky) I also paid for the test. I & my mother had worked on Buchanan's since the 70's & she died in Dec., so I will carry on...trying to sort Buchanan's, hoping to find our line...
