Have you seen Trimble's Book, Buchanan and Gillespe of southwest Virginia. The line I work on were in Washington Co., Virginia, until Smyth Co was formed. They lived in the part Smyth County was developed from a part of Washington Co., I just looked no Dove Buchanan. I can't be dna tested as I was adopted. I have suggested to my cousins and their sons to be tested; but no interest, as far as I know.
