Henry(ca. 1765-1831) and Catharine(ca. 1770-1835) Townsend who are interred at Royal Oak Cemetery in Marion lived in the Seven Mile Ford district. Their son John M. Townsend was still living there in home of a William Heritage in 1860 census. He was married in Smyth Co. in 1847 to a Frances Nelson--who was his first wife? Children include Elizabeth (1806-1859), a daughter (unk.), Peter (1807-ca. 1870s), John H(enry)and a James M. Townsend. The above Henry was a son of Henry (ca.1722-1798) and Elizabeth (ca. 1741-1811) who are interred alongside them at Royal Oak Cemetery in Marion. Seeking a will for John M. Townsend and any other Smyth Co. records like Deeds, vital records, etc. Are they published? Could anyone do a lookup? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
