Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

New River Notes

Hi folks

This is just an invitation for you all to come visit New River Notes http://www.ls.net/~newriver/nrv.htm

And if you haven't already, feel free to sign on to the New River Mailing list. We discuss Smyth County there too, along with Carroll, Grayson, Washington, Wythe Counties in Virginia, and Ashe, Alleghany and Watauga Counties in North Carolina. They are all so interconnected it makes sense, to me at least, to do it that way. It is a lively group, of over 360 folks. To sign up just type your email address in the block provided for that purpose.

Thanks.
Jeff Weaver
