I am researching my family the Reynards. They were always in the Shenandoah and mainly Edinburg area. They were also at one time in Madison. I am stuck at Abraham Reynard. He married Rebecca Fry/Frye. They had a daughter, Lillie Mae Reynard, Plaugher, Mumaw. She had a bastard son, Frederick Slyvester Reynard. It shows that Abraham and Rebecca had another daugher, Sallie Reynard in 1885, but she disappeard after that. Lillie Mae Reynard always said she was an only child. I am wondering what happened to her. Also a Ietta/Zettie Flemming appeard on one census as Abraham and Rebeccas Granddaughter. Lillie Mae always said she only had the one son, and my great grandfather never mentioned any brothers or sister. Who was she. She also had her daughter living with her as well. I cant seem to find the name.
I am looking for any info on these people as well as where I can find Abraham Reynards Grave as well as his father Jackson Reynard and his mother Mary Ann Peters. I am really stuck here. I would also love if anyone could help me to locate an obituary on them. I plan to head out to VA in the next month to see what I can find. I will only have the day Im there to find it so any information would be helpful. Especially pictures as we were unable to locate much except for my great grandfather Sylvester.
