Henry Gefellers (Gefellows, Fellows, Fellers, ect.) Pre-1800's?

My gggrandfather, Henry G. Fellers lived in Shenendoah Valley before migrating to Alabama, and finally to Texas. He married a lady by the name of Sophia. No one seems to know Sophia's maiden name. They were in Texas by the mid-1830s.

Henry was the son of Adam Gefellers. The family had been from Greene County, TN. I would really like to know when he went to VA, and if he married there, or in AL?

Any help would be appreciated.
