I would like to get information on Randolph Peters of
Gate City. He was a preacher who performed marriages
in a shoe repair store in Gate City that my grandfather
and great uncle owned. He went about Gate City and Scott
County performing marriages. He was a very close friend
of my grandparents and great uncles. He did their funerals.
This took place in the early 1930's and 1940's. I would
like to know if he is buried in the Peters cemetary in
Daniel Boone. I went into the Scott County Historical
Society-cemetaries and he is not listed.
