Anyone with ties to this family? They resided in Scott County, VA in late 1800s - early 1900s. Wm F & Mary wed on Dec 21, 1869. Mary was daughter of Wm Farley & Frances "Fanny" (Lane) Templeton (my great(2)grandparents). 1880 census in Estilleville District of Scott County listed William F (34), Mary M. (34) Frances J (8), Cordelia B (7), Wm F. (5), Mary E (3), Eliza D (1) & Wm F's mother Jane (69). In 1910, Mary now widowed aged 62 and having had 6 kids (all living) is still in Estillville (became Gate City) with daughter Fannie (38) and grandkids Dell (11), Wm F (7) and April E (3). William F had died on 20 Oct 1887 at aged 41 when a bank of dirt collapsed on him while working on the railroad.
The OUTSTANDING Scott County Historical Society web site
http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~vaschs2/ has a couple photos posted of Mary, but I keep hoping more photos of Mary, her siblings Dr. James Elbert Templeton (my great grandad), Sarah Elizabeth J. (Peters), Robert, Nancy Catherine (Taylor) or Wm Scott; or her parents William Farley and Fannie (Lane) Templeton might turn up. Happy to chat with cousins and share

Sincerely, Jack K. Templeton
