Hello Bill,
This would be wonderful if you can locate these guardian records for David Crockett Lockhart & William Lockhart. Story is that their parents were Samuel Lockhart & Rebecca
Henderson ???? Cannot find anything on these
parents & we do not know what happened to them. But I would think that someone had to
be appointed a guardian since both children seem to show up without any parents starting on 1850 census. William is living with Harvey Dealfamily & can not find Dave Lockhart even tho he was born in 1842 Russell Co. 1860 they both are living in Pike Co KY with James Hamilton family & stayed with them until they were old enough to be on own, marry & lived in Pike Co.
William born 1840 & Dave born 1842 so something happened to parents after Oct 1, 1842 & before 1850.
