New info about birth of William M hale in Russel County

In another message I ask about help finding info about the possible birth of William Hale 1842 in Russell County, VA and finding info about his parents (John Hale and Sarah Fawbush) I have received a copy of a Guion Miller application that my great uncle William M Hale submitted. On the application he claims his birth date as 1834 in Russell County, VA, his parents he states are John Hale and Sarah Fawbush. He states his parent’s birth place as VA, but I have other documents that say Sarah was born in Sullivan County, TN and John in Wythe County, VA.

Does anyone with connections to Russell County, VA have any info on these Hale's? Thanks for any help.
