And their sources? If the source is a family story handed down, which of the descendants of William and Polly told it, I wonder? And, if it is an oral history, what sort of people brought them east: traders, missionaries, soldiers, explorers, etc? Also, what families in the western Sioux, today, claim relationship with the William Clark's? It's a very interesting set of circumstances. I would like to hear the story as it was handed down to Tashina and David, and/or see the list of sources which provide support for it. Many thanks for your reply. KD
