am looking for any info on the whitlock family from va, rockingham county in the town of central (now known as harrisonburg,va). am looking for info on pleasant whitlock,who was my ggg-grandfather. am trying to find out who his father was and where they came from(what country). also i understand that one of the whitlock's married an native american of cherokee tribe. is there any imfo on this. i do know that pleasant was born about 1820.he was married to one eliza(don't know maiden name),they had 7 children, with rush whitlock being my gg-grandfather born abt.1871. any help would be gratefully accepted.
