I am stuck on my Gr-Gr-Gr-grandfather ancestry. His name is David Freeze b. 1811 Rockingham Co., VA.(not the David Freeze who married the Alger sisters and stayed in Page Co., Va). My David married Rachel Stumbaugh in 1830 Highland Co., Ohio. They lived there until mid to late 1850's then moved with most of their children to Fulton Co., IL. That is where David died in 1880. According to his attorney handling his estate, a payment was made from "The old estate in Virginia" in 1882 in the amount of $17.95. Is there anyone who could look in the wills to see if anyone had children listed in Ohio and/or Illinois. I don't have any positive info on siblings, but there was a Charles Freeze that showed up in Highland Co., Ohio at the same time as my David. I would gladly pay for your time and any copy cost if you copy anything. I can't afford to pay a professional researchers for this. Thanks in advance for any help I can get.
