Hello,
My Elliott ancestors settled the Fort Pitt (Pittsburgh) area of western Pennsylvania in the 1760,s. Our tree is relatively well documented all the way to Abraham Elliott b.1774-d.1845 and his wife Jane Daugherty. Our tree says that Abraham,s father, William Elliott, and his(William,s) two brothers Edward(Ned), and Abraham left "a point on the James river..." at the end of the French-Indian war an settled in western PA.. Does anyone have information on Elliott's in this time span with these names living in Rockbridge county? Thank You.
