Aubrey William Mason in and near Buena Vista City

Im looking for more detail on Aubrey William Mason who was living in Ward - 2 of Buena Vista City at the time's of both the 1930 and 1920 census, he's living with his possibly adoptive father Otey and Otey's wife Ella and their other children in 1920, by 1930 he's married to Nellie MAZINGO, living in his own house and they have two children, a son James A. or R. ? and daughter Luella.
Aubrey Worked for the railroad and apparently lived in Pennsylvania for some time before 1951 according to his SSDI info.

Family word of mouth has it that Aubrey William may have been adopted into the Mason family and that his natural surname may be GOFF,Nothing concrete to go on though, Does anybody have info that may shed light on Aubrey's background and maybe even prove or disprove the adoption story? Aubrey was Born according to my info on January 1,1906 and Died August 20-1976 and is buried at Green Hill Cemetary.Id love to hear from anyone who is or think's they may be connected to any of the above mentioned people.

If you respond also feel free to contact the following individuals.

Brenda Eddins,Email - BKEddins@hughes.net and Roger R. Eddins,Email - reandbe@hughes.net,

They are also both looking for info, and both of them gave me the ok to mention their names and give their Email addy's here. They are my dad and step-mom, Brenda is a grand-daughter of Aubrey William Mason, Brenda's mother was the Luella enumerated in the 1930 Census for Aubrey Mason's family mentioned above. And the James A. or R. mentioned is supposed to have died very young sometime not that long after the 1930 Census.
