"Jno Cartright" 1810 census

Look for help with "Jno Cartright" who appears in the Rockbridge County, Va., census for 1810. There's good reason to think he's the father of Charles and Alexander Cartwright (among others) who married Elizabeth "Betsy" Paxton and Jane Paxton respectively, whose family appears on the same page of the census. These two couples were in Miami County, Ohio, by 1820 and there are no more Cartwright households in Rockbridge County by that time. There is some reason to think that this "Jno" is the same as a John or Jonathan who was in Wayne County, Indiana, by 1820. Looking for guidance on land records, wills, etc. that might help me learn more about these Cartwrights and suggest whether my theory holds any water.
