It is still known as Bell's Valley. The USGS map for Rockbridge County notes a commumity also know as Bell's Valley, with currently maybe a dozen houses within a half mile radius, at the intersection of Rt. 614 and Rt. 42.

Although, I think most natives (at least today)consider Bell's Valley as the entire valley traversed by Rt. 42 from Goshen in Rockbridge County, to Craigsville in Augusta County, a distance of about 8 miles.

The Lebanon Church is located near the above intersection, and I once had a reference of a graveyard belonging to that church. However, when I looked, I couldn't find a graveyard.

Hope this helps.
