This isn't much help but I have a Jacob Clyde Croft who was a pharmacist and married a cousin, Inez Prickett, before 1920, and lived in Rural Retreat, VA, then moved to Roanoke, where she died ca 1930. He died in Florida in 1976. I don't know anything about him, but would certainly like to.
