Croft family in Roanoke

I am searching for info on David B.Croft who died in 1909 in Roanoke-- or any other Croft descendants. My Croft family lived in Eastend section of Roanoke since at least the end of Civil War--likely before.

David B. Croft was son of Daniel and Mary Croft of Botetourt (but may be same area due to changing county lines)

David married Caroline / Carolyn Chafin of Bedford County, Virginia in 1865. I suspect he may have served in CSA 11th Virginia Infantry Co. D. with relatives of Carolyn's.

David and Carolyn's children:

Samuel Houston (my grandfather-married 1st Matilda Weaver of Franklin Co Dec 25, 1905--married 2nd Eula_____)
George W.
David S.
Amos E.
Mary M.
John W.
Jacob D.
Lucy (married Lucien Farris)

My father Samuel Oakey was the son of Samuel Houston and his first wife, Matilda Weaver.
Other researchers have told me that Matilda was the daughter of William and Jenny Weaver of Franklin County, Va.

I would love to talk to others related to this family.
