Are you sure you have the correct location? I have lived all my life in the city of Roanoke,VA., or in Montgomery County,Va.; have been into Civil War history just about all my life (well over 60 years!) and have heard no mention of one. Main CW occurences: Gen Averell destroyed the railroad in Salem,Va., Dec 1863; battle of Hanging Rock was close by (can't remember the date offhand)..... Notify Administrator about this message?
