I would like to exchange information with anyone working the surnames JAMES, THRASHER, or MEADOR in or around the Vinton area. Other associated names include HOWELL, BANDY, FEATHER, SHORT. Especially interested in the Thrasher United Methodist Church. Timeframe is generally late 1700's to very early 1900's. Several family members were in the 58th Va. Reg. CSA.
