Clayburne and Ann Scott

I'm trying to locate any information on the family of Elizabeth Ann and Clayburne Scott who lived in Roanoke, Va before, during, and after the civil war. Ann was a slave to Charles Lewis Cocke, founder of Hollins College. She had two daughters, Bettie A. Scott and Salie Scott Hale, both whom were given to Josephine and Sally Jones of Lynchburg, Va. in 1848. Any information would be much appreciated.
