Four Sons of Benjamin and Elitha :"Delitha" Ginn Peeler

Benjamin Peeler b 5 Feb 1798 in Orange Co., NC and he died 5 July 1877 on the Hancock/Warren Co., GA married 18 March 1819 in Elbert Co., GA, Elitha "Delitha" Ginn b 1799 Elbert Co., GA and she died 14 July 1871 Athens Clarke Co., GA

Of the seven children thay had, four sons served in the civil war.....

#1.....Elisha Mack Peeler b 1820 Elbert Co., GA died 27 Dec 1862 Chimborazo Hospital No 5 Richmond VA. married 15 July 1847 in Clarke Co., GA, Mariah Blake/Lovin b 1834 Gainesville, Hall Co., GA, d after 14 June 1900.
Elisha Mack Peeler Military National Archives, Washington, DC Consolidated Index to Compolte Service Records of Confiderate Soldiers, Served Co G, 25th NC infantry, as Private Served Highland Guards, Co G 25th Reg NC State Troupes.

#2.....Jacob F Peeler b 15 June 1825 Elbert Co., GA d after 1885 married 16 Oct 1853 Martha P Merritt b 1828 GA, d 1888 Athens, Clarke Co., GA.....Jacob enlisted as a Private on 20 April 1862 in Athens, GA at the age of 36 served in Company G, 25TH Infantry Regiment North Carolina

#3.....Wiley Gaines Peeler b 1833 Elbert Co., GA and he died 22 Aug 1865 married 18 Jan 1855, Susannah Jane Adams b May 1833 Elbert Co., GA and she died 3 Dec 1919......Wiley enlisted in Company G, 25th Infantry Regiment on 15 March 1862

#4.....John Peeler b 1 Jan 1838 in Elbert Co., GA died after 10 May 1910 married 18 Feb 1859 Antonette Antonio Moore b May 1841 and died Ater 120 May 1910.....Enlested in Company L 3rd Infantry Regiment Georgia on20 Aug 1861.

All these sons survived the was and came home except Elisha Mack and he was wounded in Petersburg VA and was recovering in a Hospital in Richmond VA and contacted Small-Pox and died. I have never found a burial place for Elisha Mack
