Dorothy Milner, born 1736, Richmond Co., Virginia

It has been suggested that Dorothy Milner married into the Pledge family of Virginia. Nicholas Pledge settled in Virginia in 1636.
There is a Dorothy Milner, born 1736 in Richmond County, Virginia, the daughter of Luke Milner and wife Mary. They are mentioned in the book "Those Southern Milners". But there is no marriage recorded in Richmond County for Dorothy Milner.
If anyone has any information as to a Milner-Pledge marriage or proof of such, I would be most interested. I am working up a Pledge genealogy.
