Every night I search the web sites for help in finding a clue as to were the cherokees were at in Virginia, what counties. I know their is blood on both sides. Its like looking for a needle in a haystack. My parents were from southwestern VA. I have been told by many that I look cherokee, but
because of ancestories try to blend with the
white man much of our true heritage was lost. Most of us will never be included in the rolls but most important is what is in our hearts. Too learn our heritage from those that are willing to teach us. Finally having those unanswered questions answered to those things that we knew in our spirit but didn't understand by those who do.
Keep me posted if you find anything and I will do also. Good luck on your search. Barbara
