My grandfather is James and Dora Ann Solomon Hoderfield's son Will. He is buried up Gilbert Creek, WV across from our homeplace. Dora Ann Solomon Hoderfield is buried right beside him. My grandmother was Eunice Lester Hoderfield and they met at War Eagle, WV.You can cross Tug River and be in War Eagle , Va. I think they are all dead now except maybe Robert Hoderfield. Jacqaline, the granddaughter, whose mother was Inice Hoderfield Wills was living in Phoenix, Az. The family of Pearl Hoderfield Roberts moved from War Eagle to Sumter, SC. Ethel Hoderfield Cline Pennington moved to Princeton, WV and died there. She has a son named Charles Cline that lives at Chattaroy, WV. and I live in Williamson,WV. My great grandmother was a wonderful person and I was about 19 and married when she died. She was a short lady and wore her hair in a roll around her head. She liked to make quilts and lived with her daughter Inice. She had a dog named Fanny and she would sit by the heating stove and rock, and make quilts. She went to church regularly and lived up in her 90's. She got skin cancer and died in no time. I have pictures of the whole family at dinner on the grounds, but they are stored in my furniture in Charleston,SC. I would be happy to share any information I have and find long lost relatives. I think the sad thing is all the family scattered and some had odd personalities. James Hoderfield was Cherokee Indian and my grandfather Will, had red skin. I always thought granny(Dora) was Jewish. She reminds of some the photo's taken from World War II. I loved her very much.My address is Marsha Dean PO Box 2574 Williamson,WV 25661 and my email is c.marsha@yahoo.com. I would love to hear from any relatives out there. Families should stay in touch and have reunions like the old folks use to do. I am 57. I will be 58 on Feb. 19. My dad was Herman Hoderfield. Will and Eunice's son. They had 5 boys. The first died at birth, 2 got killed in accidents, and there was Herman and Henry left. Henry died in Elkton, Md. and is buried there somewhere. Marsha G. Hoderfield Cline Dean
