Hello Sherry,
In going through the archives I found your query for Leonard families.
This is a new surname in my research.
What I have is.............
In 1850 census of Prince William
Richard A. MATHEW 39
Mary A. LENARD 37
James ALLISON 40 with 6 children (5-19)
Georganna LENARD 6
Rhoda LENARD 7

In 1860 census of Fauquier co., Plains PO
Richard A MATTHEW
Mary A. MATTHEW
Roda A. MATTHEW and younger children.

In 1870 census Scott Twp. Upperville PO
Richard MATHEW
Mary A. MATHEW
Georganna age 25 MATHEW
and younger children.

My quandary is........
Did Richard Mathew/Matthew m/Mary A. Lenard, widow with two dau.?
How did James Allison and children fit in.?
Who was the Lenard husband and father?
Any assistance appreciated.
Audrey
