There were two William Fletcher Stones living at about the same time and I think yours is the other one from mine.
Do you know if yours is buried at Charity Church, because mine is buried in the Stone Family Cem between Monk's Place & Creeds proper.
Curiously, both had fathers named William Stone, but mine is buried in that same Creeds cem and his middle name was Joshua. There is another William Stone buried a little south of Creeds, who was the father of the other W.F. Stone & Mary. Both of these were born withing a few years of each other and both had wives named Martha. These things have caused me a fair amount of confusion but I'm sure I got it sorted out.
If I don't post the details (birth & death dates, etc., for mine) in a week or so please remind me to do it. I don't have a lot on the other ones but I'll post what I have.
I've been told that all P.A. Co. Stones were kin but I've sorted out three different lines (I think) that I haven't been able to tie together.
My grandmother Lucy Stone also had a classmate named Lucy Stone and I think mine sometimes spelled her name "Lucie" for that reason.
Not a lot of originality in old P.A. Co. names.
