Does anyone know Virgina Beach really well, like the history I mean?

Hi,

I actually live in Va Beach and I was wondering this: Does anyone know the history of VA Beach like the back of their hand? Or could you look something up for me for free? I lived in the Chase Arbor Complex for 2 years (off of S. Plaza and Ind. Blvd)and while I was living there all these strange things kept happening at the apartment, things I could not explain, and I would like to know if anyone can shed some light on this. Could someone let me know what was here before Chase Arbor? All I know was that Chase Arbor has only been around for 30 or 40 years but what was here prior? Any help would be greatly appreicated, even if my request is a strange one. Thanks so much!

Kaye
