There is a Reuben LOVETT named as son of Lancaster Lovett in Lancaster's will, dated 4 April 1743; proved 1 June 1743. Also named are: wife Mary, sons John, William, Lancaster, Henry; daughters Mary and ? (left blank by transcriber).
Reuben LOVETT is also listed in 1810 as a slave owner in a Princess Anne Co. census of "slave owners less than 10".
I am about to post some research I've done on the PAC Lovetts. I call the above-mentioned Lancaster "Lancaster (III)". He was the son of Lancaster LOVETT (II) and his wife Mary Carraway (daughter of John Carraway). Lancaster (II) was the son of Lancaster (I) LOVETT and his wife Bethsheba. Lancaster(I)'s will is dated 17 Oct. 1672, proved 15 April 1673. HIs wife at this time is Ann, who later married James KEMP, then Jacob JOHNSON.
I hope that this helps,
