I'm researching my Hughes family who were in Charles City and Henrico Counties in Virginia, in late 1600s through early 1700s. I just found this record, and would like to learn something about the identify of this George Hughes and George Hughes, Jr.

"Prince George County Records 1713-1728, Part III, Abstracted and Indexed by Benjamin B. Weisiger, Jr.

p.462 Dec 9, 1719 William Blaikley of James City Co., Gent. to George Hughs of same county, Planter, for a tract of land in same county made over to him by Hughs, grants to said Hughs 270 acres of land on head of Chippoake Creek in Pr. Geo. Co., bounded by a small branch of Western Run, Richard Hyde, Adam Heath, William Heath, Richard Warthen's Mill, as in Richard Jones's deed to Blaikley Dec. 14, 1714
