Though I am not researching Newcomb's specifically, I am researching Prince George co, VA generally. Found the following in "Virginia Marriages in Rev. John Cameron's Register" page 32: 15 Aug 1823 - Grief Williams and Mary Ann Newcomb (widow). Prince George co. Marriage Bonds.
Also, Elisha is indexed in the 1810 census, and 3 times in Weisiger's book PGC MISC. There's a Henry and Elizabeth in Weisiger's PGC WILLS & DEEDS 1713-1728, and 4 references to Newcombs in the 1850 PGC census. Finally there are a couple references to Henry Newcomb in Foley's EARLY VA FAMILIES ALONG THE JAMES RIVER, and Duvall's RECORDS OF PGC 1666-1719.
Do you have this information?
